Dear Prop 8 Supporters--
Please remember to vote, if you haven't already. I am reminded of Matthew 23:15 where the Savior takes the scribes and Pharisees to task for basically going all over "land and see" to get one convert, but not having their own houses in order.
We have worked so hard to try and persuade others on this issue, but we also need to make sure that we have exercised our own right to vote.
If you have an absentee ballot and have not mailed it yet, DO NOT PUT IT IN THE MAIL at this point in time. It has to be received by Election Day. If it gets to the Registrar's office the day after the election, it will not count, even if it is postmarked before election day. The best thing to do is to turn it in yourself at your polling place on election day. I have done this and it is quick and easy.
Also, please be sure to sign the envelope or your vote will not be counted. If you can't drop it off, a registered voter in your household can do so. Look at the back right hand side of your ballot envelope for details.
Finally, if you requested an absentee ballot and it never arrived, just go vote at your polling place instead of returning an absentee ballot. You have a right to vote...please, please, please, make it count!
YES on 8!!!
