Please learn the meanings of these words before you use them to describe people who contribute to this blog.
bigot, n. :a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices ; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.
tolerance, n. :The capacity for or the practice of recognizing and respecting the beliefs or practices of others; Leeway for variation from a standard.
Both sides of the debate need to recognize that there are many opinions out there and need to treat each other with respect.
