My mom has had 3 or 4 yard signs that support Proposition 8 stolen or destroyed. Seems like if a vote against Proposition 8 really were about tolerance, this would not happen. Here's a great video on YouTube about this issue:

I just saw that video this morning too. It's pretty crazy (and wrong!)
I've been told the following advice: "If any yard signs are defaced, leave them up. It will send a double message".
